JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary
Regal Boats is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as an Assembler. Assemblers are responsible for the installation and assembly of Regal’s boats following specific Workmanship Instructions (WI) for each model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts onto the boat per the description of the Sales order by using the correct tools and proper methods to attain the correct standard in the installation.
  • Follow proper safety requirements for the use of hand tools, drills, screw guns, and other equipment.
  • Inspect all parts after production to ensure that all parts are complete and up to quality standards. You are responsible for the quality of work you perform.
  • Verify Sales Order for special options and ensure materials are on hand to complete daily production schedules.

Required Qualifications

  • Be able to use a variety of hand tools. Ex.

    - razor knives, screwgun, drill and tape measure
  • Must have basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts
  • Must be able to work under time constraints and deadlines
  • Follow instructions of Leadership when doing miscellaneous duties
  • Work with a team to complete daily tasks
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Able to keep the work area clean and orderly
  • Conversational English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Manufacturing Experience
  • Previous work history in Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanics, etc.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documents

Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature reaching over 100 degrees Fahrenheit at times.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time. The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb into and out of the boats using stairs. The employee must frequently be able to lift 50 pounds, work 10 hour days with most of the time being on your feet, and work overtime, whether planned or unplanned.
