Metrie is hiring for a Warehouse Worker in Orlando, FL!

This is a Monday-Friday shift from 8:30am-5pm

• Pick, pack, and ship a variety of building materials, including mouldings and doors
• Read and understand pick lists and paperwork
• Lift, push, and pull material bundles that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure accurate tallies and order quantities
• Operate various types of machinery as required, including electric tugger and trailer, sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts
• Clean and tidy the work area as required
• Ensure all work is performed safely and timely
• Product binning and put away as needed

• Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50lbs
• Stand‑up forklift experience
• Prior door experience is ideal
• Solid work ethic and a positive attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Enjoy working in a team environment

• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated warehouse experience in a warehouse environment

• Safety – Your safety is important to us. We want you to leave the day, the same way you came in. Continuous training with all warehouse personnel for both Safety and Operational excellence. Measure critical safety metrics on a monthly basis, identify potential issues and take appropriate actions.
• Surroundings – You’ll be working around moving machines – order pickers, forklifts, and mobile carts.
• Activity – Some activities may require operating machinery, constant walking, repetitive lifting, and using a handheld scanner.
• Temperature – Warehouse in a non‑climate‑controlled environment.
• Noise level – Can get noisy  provide hearing protection if you need it.
• Dress code – Relaxed, with a few requirements regarding PPE. Metrie provides safety shoes, high visibility shirts or vests, eye protection and gloves.
