Position: Fiberglass Finisher - Hiring Before the Holidays!

Fiberglass Finisher

Full-Time | Non-Exempt | Orlando, Florida | $18.50 - $27.50 per hour

Reports To:

Lamination Team Leader

Responsibilities
  • Inspect fiberglass parts for cosmetic issues in gel finish.
  • Repair voids, cracks, scratches, and chips in gel‑coat surface.
  • Make repairs by sanding, applying repair materials, and spraying gel‑coat.
  • Finish by sanding, buffing, and polishing repairs.
  • Use a variety of hand tools including DA sanders, buffers, spray guns, razor knives, scissors, and power tools.
Required Qualifications
  • Skills and knowledge in auto bodywork, auto detailing, and fiberglass finishing.
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Adherence to all quality standards.
  • Flexibility to work overtime (planned and unplanned) to meet company goals.
  • Demonstrated record of dependability and reliability with prior work experience.
  • Team player with ability to work well with close proximity to others.
  • Understanding and following verbal and written directions.
Work Environment

Non‑climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature reaching over 95 °F at times.

Physical Demands
  • Bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods.
  • Walk, climb, or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb into and out of the boats using stairs.
  • Frequent use of power tools for extended periods while working at or above shoulder‑height.
  • Frequent ability to lift 50 lb and work 10‑hour days using orbital power tools mostly on feet.
  • Work overtime, whether planned or unplanned.
