Open for 1st, 2nd or weekend shift, 4X10 (Monday through Thursday shift)

Job Summary

You will be the Electronic Test Specialist for the Manufacturing team. Our team is responsible for performing recurring testing operations on a variety of electrical, mechanical, and optical hardware to ensure conformance with technical and operational requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Executing tests, troubleshooting failures, and improving test procedures.
  • Performing recurring testing operations on electrical, mechanical, and optical hardware using automated and manual test equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and analyzing failures or malfunctions, then recommending rework and corrective actions.
  • Conducting minor repairs and retesting modified subsystems to verify performance.
  • Recording, analyzing, and computing test data to support audit readiness and documentation accuracy.
  • Maintaining test logs, demonstrating equipment operation, and training other technicians as needed.

Basic Qualifications
  • US Citizen and ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
  • Ability to use scopes, multimeters, power generators, torque and precision measuring tools in the testing and verification of electrical, electronic, and electro‑optical assemblies. Ability to apply epoxy / adhesives as per written directions.
  • Must be able to follow written procedures and policies, as directed through computer software, Functional Test Plans, and manufacturing Process Plans.
  • Must be able to lift / carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Must have the ability to work 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or D shift (3 x 12 hrs F/Sa/Su) as required in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between Lockheed Martin and the UAW.
Desired Skills
  • Prior experience with testing / troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and/or optical hardware.
  • Two‑year degree in electronics, or one‑year technical schooling in electronics and one year test experience, or two years military service with electronic schooling and applied test experience.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and teaming skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Familiarity with automated and manual test equipment.
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance.
Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN—this position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Work schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
