Job Summary: Set up, program, and operate machines and produce production parts to required specifications.

• Set up, program, and run various machines
• Program troubleshooting
• Understand and select tooling
• Produce parts within required tolerances and specifications
• Strong understanding of cutter compensating
• Maintain a clean and neat work area
• Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding
• Maintain simple reports such as timesheets and work orders
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Strong communication skills
• Maintain concentration
• Work while standing
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs.

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in machining
• Knowledge of lathes, grinding, turning, and multi‑axis machines and their functions
• Familiarity with controls such as Fanuc, Milltronics, and Prototrak (preferred)
• Knowledge of programming and use of G & M codes
