You in This Role & on the Team as a Material Handler, you'll play a vital role in our Unusual Machines operations running smoothly. The Materials Handler is an hourly warehouse associate at Unusual Machines responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely handling of materials within the warehouse and production areas. This role supports daily operations by ensuring materials are received, stored, moved, and staged correctly to meet operational and production needs.

Your day-to-day might look like this:
Material Handling & Inventory- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials
- Pick, stage, and deliver materials to designated locations
- Accurately label, store, and track inventory
- Perform cycle counts and report discrepancies
- Prepare materials for outbound shipments
- Load and unload materials using approved methods and equipment
- Operate pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts (if trained and certified)
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Comply with all safety rules, PPE requirements, and company policies
- Report safety hazards, damaged materials, or issues immediately
- Participate in required safety and operational training
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Support production and shipping teams as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer or scanner experience
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience
- Forklift or warehouse equipment experience
- Familiarity with inventory systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong work ethic and accountability
- Ability to follow instructions
- Team-oriented mindset
- Warehouse and production floor setting
- Exposure to noise, equipment, and varying temperatures
- PPE required
