TheWork
Project Manager supporting RMS production operations. This role will support the IWSS (Integrated Warfare Systems and Sensors) line of business and the Small Combatants & Ship Systems (SCSS) market segment, specifically the production work in our Orlando, FL and La Mesa, MX factories. This role will include CAM responsibility and total ownership of quality, cost, and schedule performance for their assigned programs which includes both labor and material responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Setting up manufacturing budgets (both labor and material) and executing earned value requirements for both.
- Supporting proposals to include leading the proposal and authoring basis of estimates (BOEs).
- Conducting new program launches and leading the team through end item material delivery.
- Coordinating with the IPT to ensure a quality, on-budget, and on-time delivery.
- Analyzing and updating program schedules.
- Working with the IPT to develop production startup requirements.
- Supporting execution of existing production lines.
- Identifying and coordinating implementation of internal process improvements.
- Supporting and participating in programmatic and technical reviews, briefings, and meetings.
The Operations Program Management team is composed of ~30 professionals with a range of skills and experience. We serve as Control Account Managers (CAMs) responsible for material budget and operations labor scope. Leaders in this organization who are the primary interfaces between line of business Program Management, Operations, Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, and other company functions for production, development, and capture programs for Production Operations.
We ensure seamless support throughout the production process, ensuring successful delivery of contracted projects for our valued customers. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that the factories and their programs operate on schedule and meet commitments. We drive momentum through action, and focus on the small wins while driving towards the overall objectives.

- Ability to develop, coordinate, lead, and execute daily priorities.

- Experience coordinating tasks and actions with multiple functions.
- Experience with SAP/COS, or equivalent Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.
- CAM certification and/or experience.
- Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline.
- Previous proposal experience to include BOE authoring.
- LM21 Green Belt, Black Belt or equivalent Lean/Six Sigma training.

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
