Warehouse Material Handler 2nd Shift

U.S. Venture, Inc., a division of U.S. Auto Force, is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler for the 2nd shift.

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 4:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m. or until work is completed. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.

Position Summary

U.S. Auto Force, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

Job Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast‑paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment.
  • Use scanners to locate and put away tires and assist with inventory control.
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift and occasionally up to 80 pounds; use team lifts or mechanical equipment when handling commercial tires.
  • Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
  • Work at stack heights up to 25 feet while operating equipment, following safety procedures.
  • Work on feet for extended periods and be willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures.
  • Assist other departments (e.g., e‑commerce, inventory) as business needs require.
  • Perform additional job‑related tasks as directed by a supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must have visual, auditory, physical, and mental ability to operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee must frequently lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Occasionally exert a pushing force up to 40 pounds. Handling of commercial tires involves rolling, destacking, and team lifting that may require mechanical equipment.

Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, and SRL (self‑retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. Auto Force except for steel/composite toe boots. All team members must adhere to safety and manufacturing guidelines for compliant use of all protective equipment.

The work environment may expose the employee to weather conditions, moderate noise, and fumes associated with tires, car parts, and lubricants.

Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment.
  • 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires.
  • Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards.
  • Compliance with all company safety policies and state/federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Ability to pass forklift certification.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test (non‑THC).
