Job Title:
Orlando Assembler
We are seeking a dedicated Cable Harness Assembler to join our team. The role involves building harnesses based on wiring diagrams, form boards, and performing tasks such as soldering, crimping, and plugging contacts into connectors. You will work according to Class 3 IPC standards and follow written instructions from mechanical engineering, as well as read drawing schematics.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
- Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools.
- Make continuity checks on work in progress and completed work.
- Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
- 1-2 years of experience in cable/harness building in a defense or aerospace manufacturing setting.
- Technical aptitude with mechanical assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, parts lists, and manufacturing work instructions.
- Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and crimp tools, and cable routing.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous IPC/WHMA-A-620E-S space addendum experience preferred.

WorkEnvironment
The work environment is a climate-controlled facility with air conditioning and well-spaced workstations. There is a huge cafeteria with food available. The hours for the 1st shift are 6 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, with Fridays scheduled off. Overtime is available and optional on Fridays, Saturdays, and some Sundays, allowing you to work up to 60+ hours a week if desired.

This is a Contract position based out of Orlando, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
