Review customer blueprints and requirements to estimate the machine time, raw materials and subcontractor services required to manufacture CNC precision machined parts.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare estimates, machine processes, material cost and subcontract services.
- Consult with customers, vendors, and company personnel to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
- Discuss with engineers and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
- Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, lead-times, and scheduling work.
- Minimum 3-5 years working in a cost estimating in a manufacturing environment.
- Candidate should have a CNC shop background.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and heavy Excel use.
- Ability to work independently as well in a team environment
