Responsibilities
The Vines Hospital is currently recruiting for a Full time Psych Registered Nurse (RN)
The Nurse is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients. The Nurse coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The Nurse must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served.
The Nurse is in charge of the unit activities for each shift. The Nurse supervises the Lead Mental Health Techs and Mental Health Techs working on the unit, administers prescribed medications and provides medication and other educational groups.

The Vines Hospital, located in Ocala, FL is a premier behavioral health facility offering individualized mental health and addiction treatment in a secure and private setting. Our services include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. We offer acute psychiatric, detox, and PTSD treatment.

QualificationsEducation: Associate degree in Nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience in the mental health field preferred. Previous assessment experience required.
License: Licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse required.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills. Ability to relate to those emotionally disturbed and in crisis.
