Job SummaryWe are seeking a friendly and compassionate Travel Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant with experience in Cardiology to provide on-site care to residents in long-term care settings. This is a full-time position ideal for a provider who values meaningful patient relationships and a collaborative care environment. As a Cardiology Travel Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with heart-related conditions.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Conduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic procedures
- Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and the importance of medication adherence
- Travel regularly to multiple nursing homes within the designated region to deliver on-site care
- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate facility visits and optimize patient coverage
- DEA License
- 6 months of experience in long-term care
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to different nursing homes within the state of Florida (100% commitment)
