Unified Women's Healthcare is the leading national platform for women's healthcare. Our affiliated practice OBGYN Associates of Central Florida is seeking a Full Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) in Orlando, Florida.
• Effectively identifies, evaluates and addresses disease prevention and health promotion issues of the population in the practice while administering quality patient care.
• Works in an independent and interdependent relationship with the physician, other providers and practice manager, which allows for consultation, collaboration or referral. Works in a leadership role with the staff.
• Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of acute, chronic and long-term healthcare issues.
• Educated patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues and the use of prescribed medical treatment and/or medication.
• Prescribe medications, therapies; order / perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures.
- Join established practice with 3 physicians and 3 Advanced Practitioners
- Work week will vary
- Call Schedule : 1 weekend per month
- Care center delivers 40-50 per month
- Patient volume : 20-25 patients per day
- Provide pre- and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling
- Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history

- AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife
- Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
- Master's degree in nursing (MS / MSN)
- One year of full-time experience as a CNM is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery RN experience
- Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license
- Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
