Unit Highlights:
The East Orlando Emergency Department has 80 treatment areas and sees over 104,000 patients each year, from infants to geriatrics.
Advent Health East Campus Emergency Department is an academic medical center offering Post Graduate training for Physicians (3 medical residencies).
Our ED is also a clinical training environment for Nurses and Ancillary Support Personnel. As the busiest ED in the Advent Health System, we have been rated as having world-class employee satisfaction, thanks to our family-minded, spiritually centered atmosphere.

Advent Health East Orlando, a 265-bed community hospital, has served East Orlando residents since 1941 as an innovative local leader fulfilling a vital need in a rapidly growing area.
A recent 200,000 square-foot expansion upgraded the hospital to 265 beds, including a spacious patient tower and 80 private rooms designed to enhance holistic care.

The role you'll contribute:
The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) provides and supervises direct and indirect total nursing care to specific age groups. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating using the nursing process to meet departmental goals. Adheres to the Advent Health Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable rules and regulations. Actively participates in delivering outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships with patients and colleagues.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
Graduate of a school of nursing
Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) as per specialty/unit requirements
EKG certification
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Professional Certification
