Pre-Admission Testing Registered Nurse – Per Diem

Advent Health Surgery Center Mills Park, a single-specialty outpatient surgery center in Orlando, FL, is hiring a Per Diem Pre-Admission Testing Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in the perioperative services.

As a PRN PAT RN, you will apply the nursing process, collaborate with the perioperative team, and deliver safe, effective, patient-family centered care for all patient populations. You will support the mission, vision, and values of Advent Health and report to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

• Apply the nursing process and the medical plan of care to support perioperative services.
• Provide safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative setting.
• Collaborate with the perioperative team to deliver patient care and support organizational policies.

• Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state of FL.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 1-3 years of experience in Preop/PACU.
• Experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
