Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Nurse Supervisor

United Nursing Services | West Palm Beach, Florida

An Opportunity to Make a Difference with an Established Home Healthcare Agency

United Nursing Services (UNS) has proudly served Palm Beach County since 1986, providing quality home healthcare services to patients throughout the community. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Registered Nurse to join our clinical leadership team as our Clinical Nurse Supervisor.

We are looking for a long-term addition to our team—not simply someone to fill a position.

The ideal candidate is an experienced home healthcare nurse who genuinely cares about people, takes pride in providing excellent patient care, communicates effectively, and understands the importance of building respectful, productive relationships with staff, patients, families, and physicians.

We value a nurse who is clinically confident, organized, approachable, and accountable—someone who can work independently, exercise sound judgment, anticipate what needs to be done, and follow through on responsibilities without constant oversight.

If you enjoy clinical leadership, staff development, and being part of an established agency where professionalism, compassion, and teamwork matter, we would welcome the opportunity to meet you.

  • Communicate professionally with physicians and their office staff regarding patient care, treatment plans, and outstanding documentation.
  • Review clinical records and staff documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to field staff to promote quality patient care and adherence to agency policies and applicable regulations.

  • Conduct employee evaluations, provide constructive counseling, and address performance concerns professionally.
  • Participate in disciplinary actions and employee termination decisions when necessary.
  • Orient new employees to agency policies, procedures, documentation requirements, and clinical expectations.
  • Conduct competency assessments and ensure required staff training and documentation are completed.
  • Foster a professional, respectful work environment that encourages accountability, communication, cooperation, and high standards of care.
Clinical Coordination and Leadership
  • Independently manage assigned clinical responsibilities and consistently follow through on assessments, physician orders, documentation, and staff issues.
  • Prioritize competing responsibilities, recognize potential problems, and take appropriate action without waiting for constant direction.
  • Provide orientation and clinical support for skilled cases when necessary, including emergency fill-in coverage.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with the Clinical Director to address nursing questions and clinical emergencies.
  • Collaborate with agency leadership to maintain effective clinical operations and continuity of patient care.
