Tree Trimmer​/Arborist

Join us as a Tree Trimmer/Arborist at Walt Disney World. This role is essential in maintaining the stunning landscaping that enhances our guests' experience. The Arborist provides horticulture support for the global team, ensuring that all ‘Guest Facing’ horticulture meets Walt Disney World standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in tree production, care, pruning, and moving. Work may involve elevated platforms and confined spaces across Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.

• Perform routine arboriculture maintenance
• Operate forklifts, Lull, box trucks, and work at heights using ladders
• Climb trees with ropes and saddles
• Use tools like chainsaws, chippers, aerial work platforms, and bucket trucks
• Handle cleaning chemicals and supplies as required
• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as face shields and goggles

• At least 3 years experience in Horticulture or Agriculture
• Ability to meet aerial rescue climbing requirements
• Knowledge of industry safety standards (ANSI Z133, ANSI 300)
• Knowledge of southern tree species
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid CDL Class 'A' license with air brakes endorsement or ability to obtain one
• Availability for 3rd shift
• English communication skills (reading and speaking)

• ISA certification (or willing to obtain within a year)
• Additional CDL Class “A” license with air brakes endorsement
• Strong written and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented attitude
• Proficiency with office software and mobile devices
• Expertise in tree transplanting, pruning (natural and geometric styles), and proper planting techniques

Schedules vary as our parks operate 24/7, 365 days a year.
