• Manage and continuously improve an established quality management system.
• Serve as the management representative to outside certification bodies.
• Oversee the effective deployment of the QMS throughout the organization.
• Schedule and execute the internal audit program.
• Administer the QMS SharePoint site and manage compliance of associated documents and processes.
• Manage and improve all aspects of a supplier quality program.
• Collaborate with the Global Procurement Supply Chain (GPSC) to ensure pre‑production approval of purchased parts and components.
• Assist GPSC members in improving suppliers’ quality performance and in conducting on‑site audits or meetings at supplier facilities.
• Support GPSC in expeditious dispositioning and closure of MRRs.
• Receive and manage Supplier Rework Cost Recovery (SRCR) for appropriate suppliers and submit for debit to accounting.
• Oversee product testing throughout all phases of manufacturing.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all quality issues related to vehicle manufacturing.
• Insist on and communicate the quality objective of Zero Defects.
• Establish annual goals for each area’s quality metrics.
• Train and develop direct reports.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing.
• Actively support all safety measures and requirements.
• Participate daily in the Gemba/SQDC process.
• Lead additional projects and responsibilities at the company’s discretion.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering with an emphasis on lean manufacturing and quality management systems.
• Ten years of quality management experience.
• Passport and willingness to travel internationally.
• Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment.

• Master’s degree.
• ASQ certification (CQE, CRE, or CSQP).
• Lean Manufacturing experience and Six Sigma.
• AWS training and/or certification.
• ISO 9001:2015 experience.

USD $ – $. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by type of responsibilities, candidate’s experience, education, skills, and pay equity.
