Quality Leak Checker

The Quality Leak Check Inspector I is responsible for the control and compliance of brazing in accordance with current quality and manufacturing procedures, engineering drawings, and customer requirements.

• Evaluate unit’s systems to the engineering design
• Accurately capture any leaks in the system for data collection
• Coordinate gross leak fixes with brazing specialist
• Fix minor leaks during hydrogen process
• Evaluate and report test station equipment conditions
• Audit of Process Control Sheet and inspection of 6S
• Perform timely incoming inspection per company procedure
• Leak check in shipping
• Calibrate equipment daily to ensure accurate readings during inspection process. Immediately report any equipment issues
• Write Non-Conformance Tags and take pictures of any quality issues found
• Ensure compliance of safety procedures and programs at all times
• Ensure a safe and healthy workplace while implementing improvements
• Practice good housekeeping in the work area
• Collaborate and encourage teamwork within the department
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Other duties as assigned by Management

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required

• Can read a piping diagram
• Familiar with principles of brazing techniques
• Knowledgeable about leak detection methods
• Must have knowledge of Outlook, Teams, and Share Point
• Must be detail‑oriented
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds following all safety procedures and company guidelines
