Location: Orlando, FL

Position Summary:

The Quality Engineering Intern assists with audits of the Quality Management System and production processes and
procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with interpretation of GD&T requirements to aide with inspection of incoming material
Program Optical Measurement System to complete mechanical inspections
Use 3D printer to create fixtures to assist with inspection
Assist with audits on Quality Management System, update processes and procedures
Assist in other assigned duties and work on various other projects and processes as needed

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Reader.
High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Good verbal and communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.
Ability to work cohesively with peers and supervisors
Must be able to work with ITAR data without a license.

Education, Experience and Training:

A Student pursuing a Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or similar

Physical Requirements and Working Environment:

This role is performed on-site and primary an in-office role.
Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
