  • Support onboarding, preceptorship, team development, and performance management.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative team environment through regular communication and engagement with staff.
  • Oversee clinical research operations to ensure quality, participant safety, protocol compliance, and regulatory requirements are maintained.
  • Coordinate and support the execution of oncology clinical research protocols from start-up through study completion.
  • Develop, maintain, and reinforce SOPs and standardized research processes.
  • Partner with operations leadership, study intake teams, research services, sponsors, and other stakeholders to support efficient study start-up and execution.
  • Monitor clinical supplies, equipment, and inventory to ensure the team is adequately supported.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, team performance, and overall research operations.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of clinical research experience, with oncology research experience strongly preferred.
  • Open to candidates with either a CRC or CRN background.
  • Experience mentoring, training, precepting, or providing day-to-day leadership to other research staff.
  • Demonstrated understanding of clinical trial coordination, participant safety, documentation, and protocol compliance.
  • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical research environment.
  • CRN candidates must hold an active RN license.
  • Experience with SOPs, study start-up, quality oversight, or process improvement is a plus.
Ideal Candidate

This role is designed for a CRC or CRN with oncology research experience who has already begun taking on leadership responsibilities and is ready to move into a formal supervisory position.
