Barback, Restaurant​/Food Service

Anthem Orlando is looking for reliable, quick-moving, and team-oriented barbacks to support our bartenders during high-energy nights in our LGBTQ+ nightlife venue. Barbacks are the backbone of bar operations. You will restock, clean, assist with setup and breakdown, and make sure bartenders have everything they need to deliver top-tier service all night long. Hourly Rate: $10 to $14 per hour depending on experience

Tips: Tip share available on most shifts

Responsibilities:

• Restock beer, liquor, mixers, ice, garnishes, and supplies during shift
• Maintain clean and organized bar areas, including bussing glassware and removing trash
• Assist with opening and closing duties for bar setup and breakdown
• Support bartenders by anticipating their needs and responding quickly
• Communicate with the floor team and security to ensure a safe and smooth guest experience
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation protocols
• Be a visible, helpful, and positive presence during busy service hours

Qualifications:

• Prior barback or high-volume service experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move quickly in a crowded space
• Positive attitude and ability to multitask with speed and accuracy
• Team player who takes initiative without needing constant supervision
• Interest in growing within the nightlife or hospitality industry
• Previous experience in LGBTQ+ or inclusive venues is a plus
• Must be comfortable working late nights, weekends, and holidays

Shifts:

• Major events and some holidays may be required
• Mix of part-time and full-time roles available
• Must be able to arrive early for setup and stay late for breakdown
