Mia's Orlando Bar Back

Provide support for bartenders during setup, during service, and through assistance with closing responsibilities. Interacts with guests in a friendly fashion, and helps to take care of their needs or communicate them to the bartenders as appropriate.

• Previous experience as a bar back, busser or food runner is preferred, but not required.
• Must speak basic English.
• Must be able to work well under pressure and be self‑motivated.
• Must have good organizational, time management and sales skills.
• Must possess verbal communication skills to relay basic information.
• Must be dependable, reliable and be driven with minimal supervision.
• Must possess a high level of awareness, attention to detail and follow‑through.
• Must be both effective and efficient at multi‑tasking in pressure situations.

• Position requires sitting, handling, eye‑hand coordination, stooping, kneeling, and walking/standing for multiple hours in succession.
• May on occasion require the lifting, carrying, pulling or pushing of up to approximately 21–50 lbs.
• Must be able to withstand changes to temperature, occasional smoke, steam and heat.
• Must be able to work in a confined area for multiple hours in succession.
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms, talk and hear effectively with surrounding background noise.
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Must possess adequate sensory abilities to observe and detect emergency situations.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide at a basic level.
