- 3 - 5 years cooking experience in upscale, high-volume hotel or freestanding restaurant preferred.
- Culinary experience required.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Food Service Sanitation Standards required.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Excellent Guest Service skills required.
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend and lift items weighting up to 50 pounds repetitively required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members, leaders and guests required.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Food Service Sanitation Standards.
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend; lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of standard kitchen equipment and its use, such as fryer, grill, sauté and broiler.
- Follows standardized recipes in the preparation and cooking of menu items
- Uses knives, slicers, mixers, choppers, grinders and all other equipment in a safe manner according to the manufacture's recommendations.
- Other duties as assigned.
