Receiving Associate

Our Receiving Associates at Colony Hardware are our products’ first point of contact upon arrival to our warehouse. This role will specialize in the double-checking of initial item receipts and ensuring accuracy of all merchandise put into stock.

• 7:00am to 3:30pm (with 30‑minute lunch)
• Monday through Friday

• From day to day, you will verify the accuracy of all item receipts and put merchandise into stock using a combination of critical thinking and warehousing skills.
• You will count and record data manually/electronically on items and then label the merchandise with appropriate stock and inventory control codes so they can be moved and stocked in appropriate locations.
• Operating with a strong attention to detail, you will perform scheduled cycle counts of product for inventory and stock shelves in an organized and specified sequence adhering to all stocking policies and procedures.
• When applicable: you will remove misplaced products from shelves, return items from staging areas to stock, rearrange boxes and loose articles in pallet locations, and take note of inventory discrepancies.

• 3 years of warehouse experience including experience with receiving a high volume of products
• Experience working with warehouse or receiving management systems
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
• Experience operating machinery including forklifts
