Join our team as a Shortage Control Associate and contribute to a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service! As an SCA, your role directly impacts the store’s security and the overall shopping experience.

• Maintain command presence at store entrances, exits and high‑risk areas, promoting a secure environment and deterring theft.
• Greet customers and associates consistently with a confident, friendly, energetic attitude.
• Monitor the entrance throughout the shift, focusing on reducing opportunities for shoplifting and other dishonest activities.
• Conduct bag and package checks on associates, ensuring adherence to safety and security standards.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious subjects to the Manager on Duty.
• Support and guide associates during training on shortage reduction programs and processes.
• Role‑model safety as a top priority and address any unsafe practices promptly.

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, asset protection, loss prevention, or operations (preferred).
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, visually monitor the store environment.
• Confidentiality skills and business trend analysis.
• Strong communication skills with customers and coworkers.
• Positive demeanor, strong posture, and energetic greeting.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with disciplined decision making.
• Leadership ability that supports fostering productive business relationships.
