Part Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt

Starting Wage: $14.00 per hour , plus a bonus program

Employee is responsible for operating a cash register while strictly adhering to Gatorland’s Cash Handling Policy. The employee will also be responsible for the neatness of their designated areas while promoting great customer service and our company’s mission statement of “providing fun, smiles, and special memories to all of our guests.”

• Accurate cash handling with large amounts of money
• Sell and Up-sell to our guests
• Able to make reservations for guests
• Learning all coupon’s, vouchers, and special’s we offer
• Making sure they are fully stocked with all needed supplies for the day ex. park maps, package cards, and train bands
• Keeping work area clean, neat and organized at all times
• Able to work in all areas of retail and admissions throughout the park
• Transfer and stock merchandise to other areas as needed
• Performs other duties as needed

Must have cash handling experience. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Retail experience a plus. Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time. Must be able to transfer and lift 30 lbs. Must be able to communicate well with others. Must be available for all shifts with no restrictions as they rotate during the summer months.
