Outside Sales, Events role is a front-line, revenue-generating position responsible for driving new-to-brand event partnerships for Clean the World. This role focuses on identifying, prospecting, and closing new corporate, brand, and nonprofit partners for Clean the World’s Events platform—leveraging sustainability, social impact, and purpose-driven engagement as key value drivers.
This role is highly outbound, field-oriented, and relationship-driven, requiring strong prospecting discipline, consultative selling skills, and the ability to translate Clean the World’s mission into compelling event-based solutions.
Key responsibilities (not limited to)
New Business Development- Prospect, identify, and close new event-based partnerships aligned to Clean the World’s mission and growth strategy.
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through close, with a strong emphasis on new logo acquisition.
- Build and manage a robust outbound pipeline through cold outreach, referrals, events, conferences, and strategic networking.
- Meet or exceed assigned new business revenue quotas.
- Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with prospective partners to understand goals, budgets, and impact objectives.
- Present Clean the World’s Events offerings, clearly articulating value across sustainability, CSR, employee engagement, and brand storytelling.
- Collaborate with internal teams to scope event solutions, pricing, and timelines.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure clean handoff to Account Management and Event Operations post-sale.
- Partner closely with Account Executives and Account Managers, Events to ensure alignment between new business and existing partner growth.
- Coordinate with Event Operations to ensure feasibility and successful execution of sold programs.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to leverage campaigns, collateral, and thought leadership to support prospecting efforts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity, pipeline, and forecast data in CRM.
- Provide regular pipeline updates and participate in forecast reviews.
- Track performance against KPIs, including outreach activity, pipeline coverage, close rates, and revenue attainment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- 3–6+ years of outside sales or field sales experience, preferably in B2B, sponsor ships, events, or services
- Proven success closing net-new business in a quota-carrying role
- Strong prospecting and outbound sales capabilities
- Experience selling consultative, value-based solutions
- Comfortable with travel and in-person meetings as required
- Proficient with CRM tools and sales productivity platforms
- Experience in events, sponsor ships, CSR, ESG, sustainability, or nonprofit partnerships
- Familiarity with enterprise or mid-market sales cycles
- Background working with brands, agencies, or large organizations
- Passion for social impact and purpose-driven work
