Advertising Sales Manager

For over 70 years, Diocesan has served Catholic parishes and dioceses across the United States, helping them connect with their communities through both print and digital communications. Our work spans parish and diocesan website design, a full communications and database platform, and software that helps parishes manage everything from bulletin publishing to ministry volunteer scheduling and parishioner engagement. We're a mission-driven team serving the Catholic Church across the country, and we're looking for someone who can lead in the sharing of our story, ultimately growing our Southeast region.

We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead, coach, and grow our sales team. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing the sales pipeline, setting strategic targets, and empowering sales representatives to exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with parishes and dioceses on a regional scale.
• Introduce our full suite of products to sales representatives, ensuring they are comfortable presenting our offerings to our Parish partners.
• Conduct sales presentations for potential clients
• Create a culture of camaraderie among the sales team with an emphasis on teamwork and collective accomplishments.
• Manage the sales pipeline and regularly communicate progress with the VP of Sales and Marketing
• Prepare contracts and manage their execution/completion
• Work closely with our sales support team, orchestrating the scheduling of Sales Representatives in the field
• Frequent travel to various accounts within the region, coaching, training, and collaborating with sales representatives
• Regular meetings with Upper management to review sales results, goals, and initiatives

• Prior experience in Sales Management (3-5 years minimum)
• Prior Advertising Sales Experience is a PLUS
• Familiarity with the Catholic Church communication space
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and organized, with the desire to grow the territory
• Comfortable with CRM tools, video conferencing, and standard office software.
• A genuine understanding of and respect for the mission and culture of the Catholic Church
• Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with Priests, Bishops, parish staff, and diocesan leaders
