Anthem Orlando is hiring professional, people-focused security staff to help ensure the safety, comfort, and inclusivity of our LGBTQ+ nightlife venue. Security team members are often the first and last people our guests interact with, so we’re looking for individuals who bring professionalism, presence, and a welcoming attitude. We are hiring both full and part time for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests at the entrance, check IDs, and monitor venue capacity
• Conduct bag checks or pat-downs in accordance with safety protocols
• De-escalate conflicts and remove individuals if necessary with professionalism and discretion
• Monitor guest behavior throughout the venue and proactively address safety concerns
  
  Work with bartenders, floor staff, and management to respond to incidents
• Remain visible and approachable without being intimidating
• Complete incident reports as needed and follow procedures consistently
• Uphold Anthem’s core values of inclusivity, safety, and hospitality

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in nightlife or venue security strongly preferred
• Current Florida Class D or G Security License preferred
• Must be able to stand for long periods and manage physical confrontations if necessary
• Calm demeanor and strong communication skills
• Commitment to protecting LGBTQ+ guests and marginalized communities
• Availability for late nights, weekends, and holidays

Shifts:

• Thursday through Sunday evenings
• Holidays and special event nights
• Part-time or full-time opportunities available
