Position: Security Guard – Armed Defense Patrol
Location: Orlando, FL

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.94 / Hour

Job Schedule: Daytime – Friday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Saturday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for an armed post.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, in compliance with location protocols.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities clearly and accurately in daily reports and/or logs.
• Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns specific to an aerospace and defense environment.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies and/or alarms as required by site procedures.
• Maintain proficiency in the use of assigned equipment and weapons, following all applicable regulations and guidelines.

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
