As a Security Guard - Government Unarmed Patrol in ORLANDO, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. This part‑time role allows you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol designated government areas, remaining highly visible to deter security‑related incidents and provide outstanding customer service.

Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for all who visit or work at the location.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.93 / Hour

• Mon 07:30 AM – 05:30 PM
• Fri 07:30 AM – 05:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report concerns to appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and maintaining authorized entry to restricted areas.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and duties.
• Remain alert to surroundings and adapt to changing situations.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screening as required.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
