A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Responsibilities also include maintaining a strong presence, monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and reporting activities accurately.

• Must be able to pass federal/criminal background and drug screen.
• Have reliable transportation and communication.
• Excellent customer service and computer skills.
• Must regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance.
• Must always be accessible for phone communication.
• Mentally analyze situations, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure.
• Read and understand written instructions, and communicate information clearly and concisely in written form.
• Exceptional report‑writing skills.
• Willing and able to work holidays and weekends.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions.
• Able to work independently.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Certification:
Florida D License.

$17.50 – $18.00 per hour, paid weekly.

• Saturday: 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM (13.5 hours total)
• Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (24 hours total)
• Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (16 hours total)
