** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, clients, and staff at a government health and family services location while following site-specific procedures and access protocols.

+ Screen visitors, verify identification and appointment information as required, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals to appropriate service areas.

+ Monitor entry points and visitor flow, help to deter unauthorized access, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

+ Respond to incidents, disruptive situations, and emergency-related events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of designated interior and exterior areas, document observations, and complete required incident reports.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ X-ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
