Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing a wide range of general maintenance and repair tasks across our facilities, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Inspect and troubleshoot facility systems and equipment to identify issues.
• Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and building plans to guide repair work.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Coordinate with and oversee external contractors for specialized repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in maintenance areas and throughout the facility.
• Monitor and manage inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders efficiently.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support facility operations.
• Required to be On-Call per schedule and work weekends

Qualifications

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Solid understanding and ability to perform repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to use building management software and other computer programs, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, iPhone IOS
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, both written and verbally

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Trade certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
