PositionMetalwork Field Installer / Welder
Key Responsibilities- Work independently and lead a team
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and sketches
- Layout and cross‑check shop set‑ups
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures using welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools
- Oversee the installation of fine‑finish elements
- Set up, operate and maintain field welding equipment: TIG, MIG and flux‑core
- Value and exhibit safe working methods
- Communicate efficiently and effectively
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in field metal fabrication or welding
- Proficient with shop and field equipment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds, stand on your feet for several hours, bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, respond quickly to sounds, move safely over uneven terrain or confined spaces, climb ladders while carrying tools/items, work in extreme weather, and properly wear personal protective gear.
