Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Lead Electrician to join our fast‑paced commercial new construction team. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who can deliver high‑quality electrical installations while guiding crews and maintaining top‑tier safety standards.
What You’ll Do- Lead electrical installations for retail and commercial construction projects
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Install and troubleshoot wiring, conduit (EMT / rigid), lighting controls, power distribution , and specialty retail systems
- Work with fire alarms, security wiring, and low‑voltage / data systems
- Ensure all work meets NEC and Florida electrical codes
- Mentor apprentices / journeymen and coordinate workflow to meet tight project timelines
- Champion OSHA and Florida‑specific safety protocols on every job site
- Strong knowledge of the NEC and state / local electrical regulations
- Mastery of electrical tools, testers, diagnostic equipment , and best practices
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
- The stamina and focus to thrive in a fast‑paced, physically demanding construction environment
