Job Summary

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to help with repairs and maintenance of our tractor and trailer equipment at our Reyes Beverage Group shop in Orlando, FL.

Shift and Compensation

Shift: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 12:00pm - 8:30pm
Pay: $32-$36.00/HR based on experience/qualifications

Position Responsibilities

• The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems.
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online Asset Works system.
• Operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls.
• Ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy".
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or Xata Net) and/or cameras (Drive Cam).
• Work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds.
• Must possess own tools (minimum tool requirement).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with DOT regulations to operate applicable company vehicles.

Preferred

Education and Experience

• Technical School Certification.
