Shop Welder / Metalwork Field Installer (1st & 3rd Shift)

Position overview
:
This role alternates between 1st‑shift shop work and 3rd‑shift field installation. Pay ranges from $18 to $26 per hour depending on experience and responsibilities.

The family‑owned company has 400+ employees and more than 35 years of experience, operating out of a 100,000‑sq‑ft fabrication facility on 25 acres in Central Florida. RANDALL’s Architectural Ironworks division crafts custom metal manufacturing for building cladding, railings, displays, kiosks, signage and way‑finding.

• Work independently and lead a team
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and sketches
• Lay out and cross‑check shop setups
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures using welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools
• Oversee the installation of fine‑finish elements
• Set up, operate and maintain field welding equipment (TIG, MIG and Flux Core)
• Value and exhibit safe working methods
• Communicate efficiently and effectively
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the trade

You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds, stand on your feet for several hours at a time, and bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job. You must also be able to respond quickly to sounds, move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, see and respond to dangerous situations, safely climb ladders while carrying tools/items, work in extreme weather, and properly wear personal protective gear.
