Maintenance Technician
Join ZRS Management as a Maintenance Technician in Orlando, FL.
Our maintenance team provides exceptional service to our residents. The Maintenance Technician works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to deliver skilled, efficient, and professional service.
Responsibilities- Perform independent technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning, appliances, and any other needed areas.
- Execute apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and complete the turnover checklist (install blinds, change filters, replace bulbs, drip pans, door stoppers, caulk, and miscellaneous repairs).
- Conduct common‑area maintenance: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, pressure washing, and window cleaning.
- Monitor building exterior for roof, siding, and shutter issues.
- Help maintain an effective preventive maintenance program for the area of responsibility.
- Assume primary responsibility for the safe condition of all equipment or structures in the area of expertise.
- Enter newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory.
- Keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Observe all safety rules.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance coverage.
- HVAC certification preferred.
- Effective time‑management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to change in a composed manner.
- Respect for and maintenance of confidentiality.
- Maintenance experience and knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Clear communication with residents.
- Work cooperatively in a teamwork environment.
- Willingness to work on‑call hours.
