About the Role:
As a Lead Installer, you will be a hands-on team leader responsible for performing installations alongside your team. You will work directly with the installation crew.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality standards and within the timelines provided by the Project Manager. This role is a field-based installation position for someone who leads by example, takes initiative on-site, and ensures the successful execution of scenic and carpentry installations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and lead installation projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with installation crews.
- Provide daily updates and reports directly to the Project Manager.
- Travel to and from the workshop and various job sites as required.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Use technology (Microsoft Excel and other digital tools) to manage tasks and communicate effectively.
- Solve installation-related issues independently and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism on every job site.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential or commercial improvement, carpentry, or scenic installation.
- Experience in scenic installation and cabinet installation is highly preferred.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, take precise measurements, and execute with attention to detail.
- Proficient with hand tools, carpentry equipment, and basic power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable work vehicle.
- Must be authorized to live and work in the United States.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently; Spanish is a plus.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Comfortable using digital tools for reporting, communication, and documentation.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs independently, and work collaboratively in team-lift situations.
- Willingness to work extra hours when required and travel as needed.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to solve problems, adapt quickly, and support team members.
- A responsible and positive attitude with a desire to grow and contribute to team success.
