• Diagnose and repair tractors and trailers.
• Perform annual/systematic 90-day inspections (trailers) on equipment as required.
• Ensure equipment meets Federal FHWA standards.
• Operate a yard hostler truck to move trailers within the facility yard and the shop as needed.
• Order and receive parts and supplies as needed.
• Adhere to all established safety (OSHA) and environmental policies and standards.
• Clean, organize, and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
• Use welding equipment as necessary.

• Able to learn and demonstrate vehicle and equipment theory, principles, and repair relating to diesel engines, air, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Able to learn and demonstrate tractor and trailer maintenance, DOT rules and regulations, company policies and procedures.
• R-Stamp Certified (Able to weld 2G, 3G, 4G and other welding needs on equipment).

• High school diploma, completion of G.E.D., or equivalent vocational school preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing tractors and trailers.
• Experience with TIG welding.
• Dynamic, ambitious, and engaged team player.
