Handyman, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor, Building Maintenance

Job Title: Handyman

Location: Freehold, NJ

Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $50,000-$52,000/yr.

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: Monday-Thursday| 7 am till 3:30 pm (Weekend hours as needed)

• Maintain the day-to-day in the facilities
• Complete all training activities
• Follow plans and instructions for short term and long-term projects
• Respond immediately to emergency calls for repairs which may include Plumbing, roofing, electric, HVAC, welding, mechanical, tiles, flooring, drywall, plaster, masonry
• Address any issues with HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning)
• Safely operate and maintain a variety of mechanical tools and equipment such as power paws, power sanders, drills, air compressors, paint sprayers, and various hand tools required for carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and other maintenance projects
• Repair and replace doors and windows when necessary
• Perform minor landscaping tasks (mowing, trimming, plowing, shoveling, salting, etc.)
• Assist with the installation of new equipment or furniture
• Suggest material for maintenance requests as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Knows basic electrical principles as they apply to AC-DC circuitry and hardware, relays, switches, and circuit breakers
• Ability to commit to the company’s regular on-site attendance
• Possess strong communication skills
• Experience with:
  Plumbing, Roofing, Electric, HVAC, Welding, Mechanical, Tiles, Flooring, Drywall, Plaster, Masonry
• Knowledge of industry cGMPs and lean manufacturing principles
• Ability to work under pressure
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Computer proficiency in MS Office
• Certification, Licenses, Registrations in Electrical preferred
• Hands‑on experience managing the packaging operations of a dietary supplement manufacturing company is required
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
