Key ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed inspections, maintenance, and repairs on UH-1H/206 airframes, ensuring full compliance with FAA regulations and internal standards.
Troubleshoot airframe, powerplant, and rotor systems with a high level of expertise and accuracy.
Interpret and apply OEM technical data, maintenance manuals, drawings, and schematics.
Collaborate closely with flight crews and maintenance personnel to maintain fleet readiness and minimize aircraft downtime.
Maintain meticulous records of maintenance activities, discrepancies, corrective actions, and parts used.
Participate in field operations and deploy to remote locations during high-activity periods (especially May–August).
Uphold and promote a safety-first culture across all maintenance operations.
Support ongoing quality assurance programs and continuous improvement initiatives in aircraft maintenance practices.
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification – Required
Extensive hands-on experience with UH-1H and/or Bell 206 platforms – Required
Strong knowledge of FAA Part 91, 133, 135, and 137 maintenance standards and documentation practices.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical discrepancies.
Prior field maintenance or deployment experience is a plus.
Proficiency with maintenance tracking software and technical manuals.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in physically demanding environments — including tight spaces, elevated platforms, and varied weather conditions.
Strong visual, auditory, and manual skills essential for intricate inspections and repair tasks.

Reports to: Director of Maintenance
Status: Full-Time, 14 days on / 14 days off rotation
Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000 DOE
Location: Orlando, FL (extensive travel required May–August)
