Commercial Service Plumber
Comfort Temp HVAC and Plumbing | Orlando, FL AreaHard work. Straight talk. Since 1985.
Real commercial plumbing work - mechanical rooms, boilers, big facilities that can't afford downtime. Not another residential outfit nickel-and-diming you on calls. We hire the old-fashioned way: on your word and your work.
If flushometers, TMVs, and Schedule 80 drain systems don't intimidate you - they're just Tuesday - we want to talk.
Who We AreComfort Temp HVAC and Plumbing runs on integrity, craftsmanship, and accountability. No gimmicks, no shortcuts - just reliable, high-quality mechanical and plumbing work. We show up, we do it right, and our customers know they can count on us.
- Do what it takes.
- Do what you say.
- Do it with purpose.
- Do the right thing.
That's not a poster on the wall. That's how we run this company, and it's how we expect our people to operate - on the job site and off. Our mission is simple: keep businesses running safely and efficiently. If that's how you already carry yourself, keep reading.
The JobThis is commercial service only - no residential calls, no toilets-at-2am, no chasing homeowners for payment. You'll diagnose, repair, maintain, and install plumbing systems in facilities with real infrastructure behind them: grocery stores like Publix, retail locations, and other high-demand commercial buildings.
You'll work independently in the field, spend real time in mechanical rooms with multiple boilers and recirculating pumps, and handle commercial-grade fixtures and valves that take actual know-how - not guesswork. If you've got the hands and the head for this kind of work, this is where it gets put to use.
What You'll Do Commercial Service & TroubleshootingTravel to commercial job sites as scheduled. Diagnose plumbing issues using real service logic, not trial and error. Repair and maintain systems to get facilities back up and running quickly and safely. Talk straight with property managers and site contacts about what's wrong and what it'll take to fix it. Document every job with accurate notes, photos, and details - no half-finished paperwork.
CommercialWater Systems
Copper water lines - install, repair, modify, tie in, replace. Hot and cold domestic water piping and service connections. Recirculation lines and circulation troubleshooting. Isolation and control points throughout the system.
Commercial Drain SystemsSchedule 80 drain piping, floor drains, air gap drains and indirect waste connections, runoff drains, and drain service work - clearing it, diagnosing what's really causing it, and fixing the root problem instead of putting a band-aid on it.
Commercial Fixtures, Valves, and EquipmentFlushometers, sensor valves, mixing valves and thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs), and the isolation and control valves that run commercial systems - serviced with confidence because you've done it before, not because you're figuring it out on the customer's dime.
Mechanical RoomsYou need to be genuinely comfortable here - multiple boilers, recirculating pumps, multiple system branches, tight access, and shutdown planning that has to be right the first time, coordinated with site contacts who are counting on you.
Med GasHands-on experience with medical gas systems is required. This isn't optional - if you haven't worked med gas, this role isn't a fit.
Professional StandardsRead and interpret work orders, prints/specs, and applicable codes. Follow safety standards, company procedures, and jobsite requirements - every time, not just when someone's watching. Keep your service vehicle organized, your tools ready, and your parts inventory squared away.
