O&P Fabrication Technician - 2nd Shift

Now hiring an O&P Fabrication Technician I for 2nd shift in Orlando, FL, with a pay rate up to $24.00 per hour
. This position features a Monday–Friday schedule from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM and provides the opportunity to gain valuable experience in medical device fabrication, helping improve patients' mobility and quality of life. Ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and hands‑on trade experience. No prior orthotics or prosthetics background is required—training provided. Prior experience in manufacturing, carpentry, automotive, or similar trades is a plus.

As an O&P Fabrication Technician I on the 2nd shift, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, modifying, and repairing orthotic and prosthetic devices, while operating various tools and equipment safely.

Pay Rate: up to $24.00 per hour

• Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM

• Hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment operation
• Material measurement and shaping
• Quality inspection and troubleshooting
• Inventory management and maintaining a safe workspace
• Learning and applying new fabrication techniques

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, automotive, carpentry, or construction is a plus
• Familiarity with hand tools and shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and learn new processes
• Dependability and safety‑conscious attitude
