Each year, we sponsor around 20 employees through the Santa Fe College HVAC Apprentice Program so they can earn a 4 year HVAC or Plumbing Apprenticeship Certificate. These Team members work full time for our company and make a commitment to the 4 year program by attending classes 2 days a week for 4 years.

Comfort Temp also houses many in-house training opportunities to support our team’s growth in the trade taught by senior staff or certified instructors with plans to launch our own Comfort Academy Training Program by the end of 2024! Our relationships with our wonderful vendors also enable Comfort Temp to house training programs brought in by various vendors to keep our team on the cutting edge of new technology or advancements in systems.

CT Mechanical was instrumental in launching a new Career Technical Education (CTE) Program in HVAC for the Alachua County School Board launching at Santa Fe High School in Alachua August 2024.

Job Summary:
CT Mechanical is seeking an experienced, dedicated Superintendent for our Orlando location. You'll oversee the execution of plumbing, mechanical HVAC, and pipe fitting projects across the Orlando area, ensuring they meet safety standards, quality expectations, and project timelines. This role calls for strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high levels of production and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Safety Management: Ensure job sites comply with all applicable safety codes, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality and finish of all work to meet company standards and uphold our reputation for excellence.
• Production Goals: Maintain high production levels to meet profitability goals.
• Heavy Lifting Assistance: Assist with heavy lifting activities, including crane lifts, rigging, and forklift operations.
• Project Layout: Assist with layout and verify that as-built drawings are kept current and accurate.
• Daily Reporting: Verify that daily reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Communication: Be available by phone during all hours that projects are being supervised.
