Handyman, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor, Building Maintenance

Chefness Gourmet Foods LLC is looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team in Hallandale, FL! In this hands-on role, you'll keep our facility running smoothly by tackling a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks. • Perform routine and preventive maintenance throughout the facility
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues as needed
• Conduct general repairs including drywall, painting, carpentry, and flooring
• Inspect equipment and building systems to identify potential issues before they escap
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
• Coordinate with outside contractors or vendors when specialized repairs are required

• Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or in a similar trade role
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building repairs
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods
