Project Description
The Miami‑Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works has awarded our team the contract to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection services for the new South‑Dade Bus Maintenance Facility located on a 20‑acre site at SW 127 Ave and Biscayne Drive. The project will include a two‑story maintenance and operations facility with approximately 54k s.f. for maintenance parts storage and approximately 27k s.f. for dispatch, driver, and training areas.
A bus parking deck will house approximately 100 articulated Battery Electric Buses.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications from a State Highway Agency or National Entity such as ACI (American Concrete Institute) or NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) in earthwork, asphalt, and concrete if required by the client or jurisdiction.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- 8 years of related experience.
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required (approximately 20% travel).
- Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Approximately 20% travel.
Skills and Abilities
- Expert knowledge of construction management / construction engineering & inspection techniques, software, and practices.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
