Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking driver/warehouse person to join our team for an Orlando based electrical distributor. This role combines driving and warehouse responsibilities based on our daily needs. Some of the responsibilities include making deliveries to job sites and customer shops, shipping and receiving, order pulling and stock put away. Warehouse Manager or Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED

• Class E drivers license

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds

• Basic computer skills

• Clean driving record

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Preferred Qualifications:

• Warehouse and driving experience preferred

• Experience in the electrical supply industry a plus!

Working Conditions:

This position operates in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses computers, phones, scanner/copier, as well as standard warehouse equipment such as fork lifts, wire cutting machine and hand trucks. Summer months can be hot in the warehouse.

Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver company materials to customers in a professional manner

• Drive vehicles with GVWR < 26,000 pounds

• Shipping and receiving duties; including loading and unloading trucks

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders to determine items to picked, packed, distributed or shipped/transferred

• Sort and stock materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence

• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department

• Operate wire cutting machine to cut wire according to customer orders

• Operate forklift safely in warehouse setting

• Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times

• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $18 to $22 hourly.
